Hello. Lately I've been away of dA and the net overall due to personal matters. Here you have a summary:

- I was living in a flat with my best friend. She got all jealous of my partner and asked him to pay rent and bills and he was not living there. She started a nonsense fight and I had to leave the flat. I stood in my bf's house the latests months because I had nowhere to go. And because of that, I lost some thousands of euros.

- Time after that, our living contract ended June 30th. We started to look for a new flat around April, and we found a very nice and cheap one near the center of Murcia city. We paid everything and we got a pair of false keys. The guys who rented us the flat disappeared with our money. We went to the police and did some research and we've discovered they've done that to a lot of people. So now we've got no money and no place to live in.

- I've been all year studying for my last university exam. In fact, it was the only subject I was matriculated in this year. Trust me, I worked hard, with mental concentration problems due to all of this bullshit. So the day I did the exam, the teacher seemed to be angry with the guys of the morning shift because they sent only few persons to do the exam and take a look at it to tell the questions and answers to the rest of them and go to the exam of the afternoon shift. The teacher noticed that and changed the exam, and put very hard questions. Of 120 people, 112 didn't pass it. I've got a 2 out of 10. I left my studies of Illustration this year to get concentrated on this exam, and now, I notice it was for nothing. Now that I've got not been able to pass it, next year I won't be able to course the Master I wanted to and I won't get my annual scholarship anymore (from which I was making a living since with the crisis here there is NO work anywhere).

- My aunt got hospitalized some weeks ago. She's got something in her liver.

- I forgot to mention I've got several health issues lately but I don't want to talk about that.

Are there some more shit to tell? Yes, there are, but with this summary you've got enough about how beautiful my life is. I am consumed now. Now I have free time although I have to look for a new flat. My partner and I are 70 km away from our city living at my father's meanwhile we work something out.

2009 is being CATASTROPHIC.

Hi all! Long time since last time I wrote something. Well, I have my right arm damaged so I cannot write much. I was featured in this year's The Art Book!

What else? Life's fine at the moment. Still looking for a job or wathever occupation and trying to develop new images, but the new experimental procedures are being a hard task. Expect some new colourful stuff shortly :)

I will reply/comment soon! Promise! :)

London and other adventures

Wed Apr 22, 2009, 8:39 PM
Hi all!

Well, no fancy journals from now on =P. Some days ago I came back from London. I was in need of a break and I had some nice days there, although I was expecting something more extraordinary, I don't know why. I got sick my second day there so I wasn't able to do everything I wanted to. I was in many exhibitions (Cindy Sherman, TATE, etc) and I missed one from Gerhard Ritcher :(, we arrived 30 minutes after the gallery closed. Anyways I was shocked about the TATE, it was like a theme park or an aqualand, with houndreds of families with their 3-4 years children running all over the huge museum. It was terrible, but well. The good thing is that I was able to buy there 3 books that I wasn't able to find in Spain, two by Dave Mckean/Neil Gaiman ("Wolves in the walls" & "The day I swapped my dad for two goldfish") and one by Stanley Donwood/Dr.Tchock ("Dead slow children playing"). In case you don't know these latest, they are the ones who illustrated the artworks in the albums of Radiohead from OK Computer to Hail to the thief. And they were really cheap! :D

In the other hand something I'll never forget is that the food there is terrible!! Both in restaurants/bars and supermarkets/stores :S but I'm alive after all lol.

And well, the super-story with Ryanair. We arrived 2 hours prior to our return flight just in case, and we went to make the check-in, Ryanair didn't allow us unless we paid it again! Amazing. We had to do a queue that lasted more than a hour and a half because everything was so slooow and so we almost lost the flight blablabla...

In other news I'm starting to study for my damn degree because I have just one subject left since July'08, argh. Apart of that nothing much goes... with the band we're planning some rehearsals in the following months, we almost got the full quantity (life's expensive kids) for the mixing table and we did a concert a month ago or so as well, and it went really good :)

I'm still jobless. It was relaxing the first months (because I decided to start holidays, I was completely overburned) but now I really need to put my hands into something because I seem to procrastinate a lot lately with my own projects. Hopefully I'll upload something I've been working on and off this month, it's called "El tránsito de las ballenas" ("The traffic of the whales") and its based again in one of my poems (well, but most likely in a true story lol). It's almost finished, but it's needing some good refinement, I want it very pulished. I tell you it's hard to create giant water-orbs-planet-like containing thousands of fishes inside. It's about strange dreams I'm having almost every night that don't allow me to sleep at all and sometimes they're very strong and I wake up even crying. But well, I think that everything is controlled at the moment anyways :)

Well, that's all, take care you all!
